The salary does not make sense to me... if he was making about $500K a year at WKU, then why did we go and offer him $1.5 million? That is only $500K from what we were paying Skip when we hired him. Now if Doug and Judy had done their jobs and interviewed Petrino and Davis then we might have had the leverage to pay him the correct salary.
