Cristobal could be a decent line coach. OL or DL, not sure which - I think he played DL in college.

Definitely would be cool to have Tampa and Miami covered in recruiting if it were Taggert with Cristobal on board.

Also heard that Butch Davis rumor. Does he have a show-cause thing? I didn't think he did, he was just fired/blamed for the UNC thing but wasn't totally his fault, seemed he was the fall guy for "letting it happen". Could be a good stepping stone at FIU as they enter C-USA. Take UCF's place as the powerhouse team in the East (with ECU/UCF gone, shouldn't be too difficult to beat the likes of Marshall, UAB, Southern Miss), and move up to a big boy job again.

I honestly believe a Coach needs a passion and a fire to be successful at USF. They need to be a hell of a salesmen. I think Davis is too far down the road and established to make it work at USF. Same goes for Nutt.

I really did like McGee along with Taggart. They could entrench themselves the same way Leavitt did. I'm not sure Davis would really care about the program all that much.

no way can we go to him. academics are important to our admin. whether or not he knew it he had recruited kids willing to cheat academically ( a lot of them actually)and accept agent's money.

He turned down those jobs last year. He got fired because he was talking to another University about a job
