I like this guy, and I'm glad to have him. To pretend his upside is as high or higher than AW's is beyond a stretch.

Recruiting services, programs offering, Super Bowl winning QB Trent Dilfer, measurables, competition against two dozen other top QBs in the country, video evidence...

There are no guarantees. If you are going to discount all that just because you want to convince yourself that USF got a steal, be my guest. It is clear who is considered the better prospect by nearly everyone that knows anything about football.

The kid was the 14th best DT-QB with offers from Oregon, Texas A&M, Baylor and Stanford. White has no BCS offers. I think that's all the supporters of Woulard are trying to say. The upside is clear.

I'm not discounting anything and have no agenda for one play over another. I'm just saying that a guy who signed not long ago (redshirt freshman) and who is one of the best college qbs I've ever seen was rated not 5, not 4, but 3 stars by the services that everybody is going to use to rate how good a class we and everyone else comes up with.

All of his offers are for QB. The upside is too massive for him to be looked at at another position.
