GA Tech fans travel well, USF fans have shown to travel well for Big games as well (FSU, ND, Auburn ect...) If we cant get 10,000 to 15,000 of our own fans to drive to Jacksonville less than 4 hours than we have bigger problems than Skip, the AD and the BE.

If Skip is still here this may be our only "Bowl like" game.

Dude, we will be barely getting 15,000 actual butts in seats in Tampa next season.

2013 season attendance sneak preview is this Saturday.

Just heard from a pretty reliable source - my boss, who is a GT booster - that USF and Georgia Tech should be announcing pretty soon a 2 game series for 2013 and 2014. 2013 game would be in Tampa,

Def a fun road trip and great city and atmosphere for a game. As for beat them well they are difficult to play against with that offense they run. Good thing is they dont pass the ball too much so that def goes in our favor.

That coach is probably on the way out and he is the one that runs that offense.

Paul Johnson is going nowhere at the moment. He's locked in tighter than Holtz is here and that triple option offense would take years to get rid of by another coach.

Debatable. He is 0-4 in bowl games at GT. And only has 1 win against Georgia. Both are high priorities to GT fans and boosters.

Not debatable. Regardless of his stats, and the method by which he got there, he has his team in the ACCCG, and he was allowed to get rid of his DC in midseason. That wouldn't have happened if there was a shot at him getting canned at the end of the year.

Went to a game here in Tampa a few years back and GA Tech brought about 20- 25.000 fans, It was the ACC Championship game. http://www.tampabay.com/sports/college/acc-championship-game-attendance-markedly-improved-in-tampa/1056917

As for USF FANS, Ask FSU( WE took about 15,000), UF we also sold out our allotment, ND there were thousands of us there as well. So yes I can see USF taking 15,000 to Jacksonville for a game.

Some of us Fans show support by acutally attending the game in person, not behind the computer screen or behind a tv set.

But slick, there's just as much a chance that GT wins the conference next year. So shouldn't they keep him because you never know what the next coach will be.

Had a good friend who played for Tech during the O'Leary era (or Joe Hamilton/Godsey era), and would go to a couple games a year up there. Loved the roadtrip, and this is one contract Ive always wanted us to sign. Hoping that a 2 game series with them could lead to on again/off again series with them in the future.
