Many times when you are recruiting a big time QB, you promise them that if they sign, you won't recruit another QB. This happens all the time. Basically you say anything to get them to sign on dotted line.

We'll wait until Woulard pulls his commit and then frantically scramble and offer anyone we can. There's not much we can do to stop that happening, though.
