I'm not worrying about that stuff anymore...I'm more worried about USF sucking

Can we start discussions with a 1-AA conference? Maybe we could be competitive again... Some one get Villanova on the phone and see if they can pull some strings for us!

Honestly this might be great news for USF, because if MD and RU goes to Big 12, UConn goes to ACC then ESPN would go all in to get UL out and therefore it needs a partner,IMO, that partner is USF and I would expect it would be Big 12. (Unless SEC then goes after VaTech and NCSt then ACC for USF and UL) But would then FSU and Clemson stay?

USF gets picked over Cincy because of ability to grow.

Big 12 Divisions

WVU, USF, UL, ISU, Baylor, TCU

OU, UT, OSU, Kan, TT, KSt

I would also expect a 9 game schedule with no cross rivalries and you would see 1 of UT or OU every year.

Baylor/ISU and TCU is going to be tough votes though to not be in UT/OU division.

The Big XII already has their turds, Iowa State and Kansas. Why would they need a third?

If Rutgers leaves for the B1G, expect Louisville to join the Big 12 soon and the UConn to join the ACC to replace MD. USF and Cincy will suddenly be the longest tenured Big East football members playing the likes of Temple, SDSU, Memphis, and ughhhh.....UCF.

Of course, they still won't be able to win the conference because it's coached by Gomer Pyle and the roster is filled with diamond in the rough type players who chose USF over Dayton or Troy.

I can see this happening and this is why the state of the football program is important. if the college football tectonic plates continue to shift right now USF is out of position and will be stuck with the big east. chances are Big 12 goes after Louisville and someone else if this happens.

B1G is pushing Maryland who needs to decide if football wins out over Bball. (UA says yes) After Maryland says yes RU gets invite.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
