Did we give up this many points in the first half of any game last year?

Doubt it... We only gave up like 16 more points per game lat year...

Down 16 at the half... **** trying to use offense we need to just grind it out on D again

Being down this many pts at halftime is probably insurmountable for a team that has no identity on offense.

Then you will see final scores like 40-16 instead of a halftime score. This team certainly should be better on Defense then they were in this 1st half, but asking a small, somewhat soft team to grind out on defense to win games would be an agonizing death.

The injuries have slowed down Collins development since he couldn't work on his shot this off season. Rudd said he didn't attempt a 3point jumper all summer is believable after watching him shoot the 1st half.

UCF is very short on depth, so even as a UCF fan, I would say this game is LONG from over.
