Too early for Holtz' offsenive line recruits to make an impression? Seems like he's recruited a multitude of offsensive lineman and this has to be one of the worst positions of our team this year.

Looking for real insight and perspective, not another bashing thread lol.

Hope Popek can return...

The line did fine run blocking, we just don't run enough.

I really thought Holtz would improve o-line.

The line seemed to play better with Gudmonson (sp?) in at LG after Popek got hurt. Williams at LT is atrocious and Edwards isn't much better. The lack of ability of this staff to evaluate talent is painfully obvious. Why move Popek, a natural LT to LG to insert a rookie in the most important position on the OL. They should have left Popek at LT and moved Gudmonson in to LG.

The coaches are just plain awful.

It's spelled "offensive line", but it's pronounced "imaginary line". The 'offense' part is silent.

Both tackles are bad. Left is horrible, but right is awful

If the line was good BJ would be having even more success...

Easy with that statement bro. Some one here claim BJ is worse than global starvation.

Reiter not strong enough in the middle. Both eatmon and Williams looked better last year, both look slow and bad footwork. Popek should have stayed at tackle. The only one who I think is doing well at their position is estenor and that is primarily because I don't recall huge issues at the inside right.

I'd actually like to see Popek move back to LT if he comes back and keep Grundsmusson (not gonna even try) at guard. Williams gets beat bad too many times. Not sure how Daniels hadn't gotten knocked out yet.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
