You'd have to be an idiot to leave the magnets on the outside of your car during the game. Dude that keyed your car and stole them is definitely in the wrong, but you've got to protect yourself first.

Thanks for bringing this up. There are a lot of Gator and Hurricane fans in Tampa who might not have taken too kindly to some of the punk things coming out of little FSU mouths. While I am disappointed it happened, it does not surprise me in the least.

That sucks your car getting keyed. Just get some new USF magnets and place over the scratches...your car will then look good as new and you won't have to worry about your car getting keyed again in Tampa.

After sleeping on it, I regret the disparaging remarks I made about USF and I apologize for that. I would edit it, but it doesn't appear I can. All I can say is when someone keys your 2-year old car over a football game it gets you pretty pissed off, so that's where that came from. Someone pointed out the local gator and cane fans and I didn't think of that. If anyone has any info on this please email me. I've already contacted the TPD but that was mainly for insurance purposes.

people suck - I would not assume the keying and the theft were by the same people

there are people who cherry pick car magnets, flags, grills, coolers, food, chairs-- you name it -- in unwatched lots all the time. And it is not the parking lots job to watch that stuff-- the tag they hand you (assuming they did) will tell you the limits of liability.

A picture of your car before and after might give us a better idea -- did you have a ton of negative window comments about USF?

keying someones car is such a lame thing to do regardless of when, where, why etc
