FSU looks much better than Clemson so far so assuming that game goes to FSU, the bulls will get a chance to cut the head off the snake in two weeks. Would go a long way in redeeming this loss. It can happen.

Our BCS record destroys the ACC record in those games. Not to mention what the BE does when they play them head to head. So why do we get crapped on and they don't get it nearly as bad as the BE does?

ESPN was almost creepily complimentary of the BE today.

Our BCS record destroys the ACC record in those games. You're not talking BCS bowls are you? Oh, I am sure that he was. Please arm yourself with facts sir, if you wish to enter here. Highest Winning Percentages By Conference Conference Percentage (Record) Mountain West .750 (3-1) Southeastern .696 (16-7) Western Athletic .667 (2-1) Pac-12 .611 (11-7) Big East .500 (7-7) Big Ten .480 (12-13) Big 12 .474 (9-10) Atlantic Coast .133 (2-13) Independents .000 (0-3) http://www.bcsfootba...tory?id=4819309 Oh and that Independents record was mighty ND losing all 3 BCS bowl games that they have played. See ya Leprechaun You could win plenty of bets in sports bars across the country by asking what conference has posted the best bowl record during the BCS era. It's not the mighty SEC, which has produced each of the past four national champions. Nor is it the Big Ten, Big 12 or Pac-10. The answer instead is the much-maligned Big East, which has gone 36-23 in bowl games since the 1998 season. The only league with a higher bowl winning percentage is the Big West, which went 3-0 in bowl games from 1998-2000 before it got out of the FBS business. The most remarkable element of the Big East's bowl success is that it continued to succeed in the postseason after Miami, Virginia Tech and Boston College left for the ACC. Miami and Virginia Tech joined the ACC in 2004 and Boston College followed in '05. The ACC's dismal 2-10 record in BCS games has overshadowed the league's relatively sold 37-32 mark in non-BCS contests. The ACC actually was faring better in bowl games ibefore/i Miami, Virginia Tech and Boston College joined the league. http://www.standard....cs-era-big-east Edited September 16, 2012 by Bullwinkle

While the Big East's winning percentage is .500, the actual record is 3-3 ... the ACC's winning percentage is .300 based on a record of 6-14. 50% compared to 30% is definitely better but hardly "destroying" .... especially when you consider that the ACC teams got into 3 times as many BCS games as the Big East teams did ... and when you factor in 2 MNC's, plus several more MNC game appearances, it doesn't take a MENSA member to see why the perception of the ACC is head and shoulders above the BE.
