PITT CUSE RUTGERS UCONN WVU Florida State etc... LOL Man, I really appreciated this quote. In a night when I have been absolutely disgusted, this actually cracked me up out loud...Well played, well played. Man, I just spit out my drink. A redshirt qb who plays on pure atheticism. No viable backup qb options. The one mistake he made was tryin to make BJ a pocket passer, puttin a square peg in a round hole. Yes but he didn't recruit anyone either. He had better hope Asanti comes here or we are in for many years of the SOS Couldn't agree more. BJ is not a pocket passer. I was glad to see him get 15 carries tonight. If the OL could block anybody, he might have only thrown 1 of those picks.

Is he ready to play at a decent level?

Is he ready to play at a decent level? no and not even close. our backups aren't anywhere near game ready. bj is the best option and unless he gets hurt this year it will remain that way. The offensive line actually commits less bonehead penalties than when Leavitt was here.

Its sideline, deep or nothing. BJ doesn't sit back in the pocket(hell our o-liine can't construct a pocket) he is always on the move. his height is not the issue. we don't call the plays. usually when you throw over the middle it's to a TE. I don't consider Landi a TE. He is more WR. we don't use TEs at all. Feel bad for the 4 star and the 6'6" transfer from UF.

They need to redshirt McFarland and Price, if we're not going to throw to TEs, let's just "not" throw to Landi and Shields only.
