i don't think many of our defenses were better than the one we have now.

i'd say 2

Lol, you're kidding right?

Watch the auburn game, or FSU, or, pull up some stats... we used to be a top-30 defense year in and year out.

Leavitt is in San Fran now coaching line backers, how's that group performing? Give credit where it is due.

I hope you all realize that Asiantii will not be ready to play as a true freshman. It's probably going to be at least a year I would guess

He'll be good because he can make an intermediate pass... BJ can't make that pass, hasn't done it his entire career. Rutgers was begging him to throw it within 10 yards and when he did it was either picked off or no where close... sad day for USF because we are looking at some major losses this year again because of it. Not seeing us beat Cincy, UofL, UCONN or FSU... that leaves at 7-5... and that is being optimistic at this point...

don't turn this into a leavitt thread... leavitt has monster LBs and is a good coach... what do you expect will happen?

...on a tablet, can't bold, but "good coach" is the point.

Its not about Leavitt so much as it's about getting rid of a good coach and replacing him with this staff. A good coach could get more out of the talent on this team.

We had a great defense with Wally and with Kravitz, none since Wally left. .

Way does everyone think Asanti will be work in Hotlz system, he is a dual threat QB and aren't some of you voting for BJ for the O'brien award???

Not True... he can pass and than if he has to he can run... he can also see over the offensive line and perhaps pass to the 2nd read..

i really doubt he's laughing...

hes coming to the realization that if he doesnt start winning BE games (and a lot of them).... he will be exposed as a complete fraud and not be able to accomplish his dream of coaching and a traditional power.

Under what premise do you assume that?

Under the premise that he outperformed every other qb in the elite 11?

Under the premise that he will be walking into a position where the job is up for grabs?

He is a dual threat QB and that is actually a good thing because unlike BJ, Asiantii is a threat to THROW the football as well as run it when needed.
