Give Nevada credit too for gambling on two 4th and shorts on the opening drive. They established tempo and took the wind out of our sails right from the beginning. Gutsy calls (especially the first one), and it made a huge difference in the first quarter.

For sure. Looking ahead, those are the kind of moves Skip needs to take notes on, because we may need to dial the aggressiveness up against FSU or a team that may have more talent.

Nevada will finish in the Top 10 for total offense, maybe even top 5, and will most likely run the table and finish 12-1 on the season. A lot of experts proclaimed them as the final BCS buster of the season and we bursted that bubble, on the road, in a very loud 25,000 fan stadium (those seats were practically on the field) and a terribly difficult to breathe altitude.

Nevada was favored in this game for a reason.
