I find that mentality incorrect.

It is NEVER too early to get on, or care about being in the polls. The earlier we get in, the higher we can end up.

Stating not to care about polls is a problem when we start the year in an already penalized position.

(But either way... its not like us caring or not matters to pollsters, but still...)

Can you honestly say you know that we are a top 25 team at this point based on the two games we've played and the results of last season?

I am still amazed we are getting as much love in the polls as we are so far. It's hard to ignore this stuff but I BEG EVERY FAN on this board to put this talk on the back burner. You are either going to jinx the living balls out of our team leading to yourself being way more upset about any forthcoming loss (if we go undefeated, I will gladly eat my hat) OR lose your mind if things go like they did for us last season.

caring about the polls has about the same impact as "pulling" for our conference brethren to win all their OOC games. none
