Maybe it's just because I was watching on my phone, but D'vo and McFarland are some physical specimens. D'vo looked real good running with the ball, and both really stoodout on the field. Hopefully they both develop and see some PT, because there are some obvious physical mismatches to be exploited.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were redshirted. After all coach Holtz redshirted Lamar.

McFarland looks like a man amongst boys out there. we should use him as a decoy just like we did last year. no need for him to get more than 1 catch per year.

I thought there was some rule where you could RS even if you played in a game...

As for McFarland... his problem is he has no hands... the reason he only had one catch last year is he can't catch the **** ball. From his FB posts it appears that he thinks he's a bit better than he actually is.

trex played last yr and then redshirted. Was his a medical redshirt because of the concussion ?
