is it not going to be blacked out locally?

Hmmm... I had not thought of this yet... will ESPN3 black out the game locally?

While tickets are cheap I can't make it...

I only have Brighthouse due to the past games only shown on Brighthouse network. Does USF still have that relationship with Brighthouse? If not, I am going to switch to Verizon.

I had been a BH holdout because of USF games. I finally had had enough of the spotty internet connections with BH and switched to FIOS a week or so ago. It may mean missing a USF game but I had had enough. My daughter and son-in-law still have BH so they can record any that FIOS doesn't carry. Or I'll watch any away games at their place. One note about FIOS, no PIP. Hard to believe. There are 2 tuners in the DVR so I'm not sure why they can't set that up.

I don't think it will be blacked out since it says it's an Exclusive stream on the espn3 website:: Chattanooga vs. South Florida (Exclusive)

I just know in the past there have been games that we suppose to be online and they ended up being blacked out.

The exclusive label is a bit more promising. It usually says "subject to blackout," even by this time, iirc.

So let me get this straight. Brighthouse dropped us because they want to get "more local" and do High School football games only? Do they have a viewership deathwish? How much more "local" can you go then showing the "local" major college football program?

Also, this means we have no tv deal locally. No Sun Sports, no FSN Florida, no Brighthouse. Awesome.

Lord help Bright House if the game is blacked out tomorrow night because they chose to go cheap and show High School football games...

Bright house is showing the Plant vs Jesuit game.

I thought USF and FiOS had a partnership now. Why aren't they picking up the game somehow.

It is pretty sad that the game isnt on but considering the opponent I am not surprised.

If you have a Bright House account, I believe you can still see the game through the Watch ESPN app on the mobile phone.

Whatever partnership USF and Fios has, it doesn't pertain to broadcasting games. Fios has nothing similar to BHSN to broadcast it on.
