its because they are no matter what people say

Right .... because they'll be a conference foe and the games will actually mean something, and that's the definition of a rival.

Ok, this is more in line to what I'm feeling.... They are as much as a rival as D'ville, Rutgurs, Memphis. Ect.....

Dude, come out of the closet. UCF is our rival whether you want to admit it or not.

You may have a fantasy of beating a school we have beaten 4 times in a row, who got leap frogged by a younger program, and as far as we know it still lags behind.... I do not... The fights we pick need to be with someone who we will gain respect for beating.... No more moral victories.... Play the best, beat the best, become the best.... Not sure how UCF fits that...

Are you going to be able to once they are in the Big East? And have a Big OOC game.

For example- UCF plays at Ohio St in week 2. If this was next year and they were representing the Big East would you root for them to win?

Personally, I say no. I will look for our other conference members to carry the torch and still hope UCF just gets burned.

But i guess there would always be a silver lining now. If they win it's good for the conference, if they lose- well they are still UCF.

I will never "root" for these fucktards just like I will never root for Futgers, UConn, Natti, or Louisville... the only current Big East team I can root for is Temple and that is because I don't hate them yet.

Only way I will root for a conference mate is if it helps us out and even then I have to drink myself into a stupor before I can even think about doing it.

Never. I will never root for a night, no matter where they are from.

losing to UCF is worse than losing to any other BE team...

the same holds true when they are in the BE

I won't ever root for UCF. Just like I never root for Rutgers. I root for other teams in the conference to do well, but Rutgers can go 0-12 for all I care. UCF is the same, conference mate or not.

Out of curiosity....

UCF is 0-11 and Rutgers is 0-11, they both play the last weekend of the season, who would you like to see lose more?
