USF isn't messing anything up, our fan base just isn't big.

If they put single game tix out there, they would still be bought by more fsu fans.

If just to season ticket holders, many would buy to sell - which again would mostly be fsu fans.

I disagree ET... USF hasn't marketed well for many years.

Football fans know of fsu coming, they are marketing to potential season ticket holders. It's a small market unfortunately.

Slow growing fan base

Nope, the marketers in the Athletic department think they know what they are doing. They don't. They should hire USF graduate students to audit their strategy.

USF marketing has always been poor.

Marketing USF sports is like trying to market to a dead guy.

"Come on, man, wake up".

"You really need to wake up"

"You're going to miss a lot of cool **** if you don't wake up".

"There is a new and improved Sun Dome and men's basketball made the tourney last year".

"USF soccer is really good. Made the Elite 8 last year".

"Women's softball made it to the college world series".

"Men's baseball was 1 game away from making the college world series".

"FSU is coming to town to play USF in football".

Nope, still dead.

Well then it is time for someone to prop up that dead guy like "Weekend at Bernie's", LOL.

Just curious. Those of you asking for better marketing from USF, what do you suggest? My take on this; no amount of advertising is going to make me a USF sports fan if I'm a fan of Miami, FSU, UF, Notre Dame, etc.

The attendance at the WVU game, lo those many years ago, proves that people will come out to an "event". But that doesn't make them "fans". Was the advertising better for that game? Probably not.
