Can't not recruit one QB just bc another may decommit. Chase shouldn't be afraid of competition, kid is a top notch QB who we got on wholesale.

I don't think he's a fan of competition, especially from a comparable QB.

That's just ridiculous, especially to infer it from an off the cuff Twitter remark. Kid is obviously a supreme competitor or he wouldn't be where he is. Last year he was pissed when he didn't get to lead Team Tampa ahead of Pete Dinovo. Doesn't sound like someone shrinking from competition, sounds like someone aching to get on the field and compete.

He intimated "Well that changes things" on twitter once Flowers committed. I wouldn't even call it an intimation. It was rather obvious that he was going to look elsewhere.

That statement could also be interpreted to mean that he may have to hurry up and commit as the available spots are disappearing.

Maybe I'm just a glass half-empty Negative Nancy but this did not sound good to me "@CL14_: Well that shakes things up a bit ... congrats USF on the commitment."

Or maybe I'm just overly paranoid and still butt-hurt from the whole Ass-iantii Woulard ordeal...

Didn't he quit the team over that situation?

I don't recall him saying that. I recall him remarking that he was surprised, and then he congratulated the Bulls and Flowers.

Very true. And that's exactly what happened.

Hah, yeah actually he did. But he apologized to his teammates for it and has talked about it publicly before as being a big mistake on his part. That's probably the best evidence for an assertion that he would reneg on the Bulls should they also snag Tyler Harris...as opposed to an ambiguous twitter comment.

He ain't going anywhere. Half his posse is committed and the other half about to. He is part of the reason they are coming in. No more Nervous Nelly talk.

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
