Still not sure if serious but, IMO, it's not a "coup" to wrestle a 2 star recruit away from Cincy and Memphis .... and for the record, I like Davis and think he may be a bit of a sleeper.

Ah, Memphis.

 

Sometimes nice guys finish first. Memphis has been on him hot and heavy from the very start. Fuente is an old RB Coach for TCU and he has been going hard after Robert. He probably felt like in the end he could go to one of these other programs and end up never playing, one way or another, or he could go to Memphis where they're so high on him he's almost guaranteed to be tried as a starter at some point. There's something to be said for that.

Just granted his release from Memphis, will be transferring somewhere

 

 

Looks like another one that should have just stayed home and played for the home team.
