Had not followed them at all. Are they supposed to be that good this year ? Any other publications picking them top 25 ?

Read what Phil wrote, I think he is basically saying that CUSA will be down and they will be up. However, they play Ohio St away and Missouri home, those will be the games that tell us if they are a top 25 team.

Bruce Feldman of the venerable CBS Sports called Phil's yearly analysis a "must read for any CFB analyst".

My problem, He pick's us to finsih ranked for the first time in our history, and then goes on to destroy any possible thoughts that he is sane and rational by picking UCF to finish #15 in the country.

I like the good press he is giving us, but we need to deliver and prove him right. As for, UCF that is more of a dream than us winning a BE championship.

I really have never understood why he routinely predicts major success for us each year (once he said we were the "dark horse" for the national championship) when we never provide the proof. I guess he is working on the broken clock theory. I'd love it if we proved him right, finally.

North Carolina is at 13, is Phil smokiing crack. That team lost their coach and had a big problem last year.
