David Teel might as well be a NC-4 spokesperson. Not exactly objective reporting. He omits the fact that for the very 1st time, the ACC had 2 BCS teams(Prolly never happen again) hence their increased revenues. He conveniently skirts the fact that The new B12 TV contract hasn't kicked in yet which Day 1 immediately gives B12 a sizable advantage. But he does work for the mighty Hampton Roads Daily Press. I mean what can you expect?

Nope. It means that Notre Dame caused the Big 12 to kick Clemson to the curb, just like WVU jumping in a showing interest caused the Big 12 to kick Louisville to the curb last year. The Big 12 doesn't leadership doesn't have much in the way of scruples.

This is accurate, but misleading. The budget issue has been resolved for this year only. As Bullwinkle notes, that only happened because the ACC put two teams in the BCS this past year. The problem isn't solved for 2013-2020.
