Figured I'd pull this out of the dirt and bring it up again. With the buyouts and the firings...will any of this be delayed now? Or are we still pushing forward? This could also be another selling point for future conference expansion...

Over the next 5 years, USF is actually saving 2 million by firing Holtz and bringing in Taggart.... With the new energy level I'd expect the project to move up if anything.

unless Taggart starts winning lol then he's due for a raise

That's a relief, hope we hear word soon on the construction then. Would be nice to keep the momentum going.

I still think there going to try to do it through fundraising, instead of money from the operating budget.

I don't know why people are so fixated on the University Mall. It's not on campus, and you'd still have to drive to get there. You want somewhere students can walk to. Theres land on the corner of Fowler and 30th (Next to the embassy suites)

if that doesnt work there's a GIANT FOREST right next to The Claw by fletcher. (Not sure how much of that is Lettuce Lake Park though)

I don't know if you are serious or not but this has been discussed numerous times. There is no way that will happen due to the wetlands laws.

BINGO on the Mall. It would still not be an on campus stadium.

Neither would the Giant Forrest. Lots of other Environmental and other issues with the Northern Property there too.
