Bobby Bowden/FSU used to constantly end up with one the best recruiting classes on signing day. There were many years that the recruiting "experts" said that FSU was going to have a poor recruiting class only to eat their words. It's April 4, we are one week into Spring practice, season tickets are juse now getting renewed, we just released our schedule........ If we win the BE this year, I'm pretty sure that our recruiting will improve drastically.

We'll be fine. But let's remember that recruiting services have an audience. They always remember to follow the money.

There's still plenty of time to get a good QB.

I just wish the board would learn how to handle the normal ups and downs without mass hysteria ... It is going to happen, might as well get used to it and not let your blood pressure rise.

If this board really handled it how you wish, would it be so much fun to read?

I don't think so.

We lost him now that the SEC is on him. Time for us to move on. This is the problem with being in the Big Least conference and not winning it.

Winning it ... not winning it ... doesn't matter. You see any big surges with Cincy and UConn because they won the conference?

Apples and oranges, Trip. This is FL we are talking about. More than enough talent in this state to attract top players, we just have to show we can take them to a BCS game.

im not shocked by this. why would a very good quarterback at the highschool level come to a college program that has taken mulitple very good highschool qbs and turned them into mediocre players with poor decision making? with our playcalling, our offensive coaching staff sets up our quarterbacks for failure, period.

this makes absolutely no sense.

if you're talking USF's football PROGRAM in general, we took Matt Grothe-- who had NO offers to play QB and was bound to become a safety-- and turned him into the Big East's all-time total yardage leader.

if you're talking about Coach Holtz, he has only been here two years and hasn't turned anyone into anything because he hasn't even fielded a QB he recruited himself. BJD's stats improved significantly last season.

either way, u don't seem to know WTF you're talking about. the "program" itself doesn't develop QBs, coaches do... and considering the fact that position coaches change on a regular basis, and more importantly our head coach changed just 2 years ago, there is absolutely nothing upon which to base the assertion that USF is some black hole for quarterbacks.

I love how people are like "who cares," "no big deal" when those same people were cheering when he committed. When I said bad move not getting a QB in the last class I was told no big deal. Well at what point does it become a big deal?? Nevrmind just go with Eveld and we will be set for the next few years. If Holtz doesn't land a major QB this year we are in a world of trouble
