I'll take some pictures of the full dome tomorrow morning. I wish I wasn't going with the in-laws. I would love to have a chance to take a leisurely walk around campus like I did as a student.

The brick that is on the wall at Holly and Palm is also on the front of the Admin building and has the wording "John and Grace Allen Building." I think its a good look. Not all universities are red brick. I like LSU's theme throughout campus.

Was that recently "bricked over". I haven't noticed.

Serious question. Wouldn't the technical term for this be something like "flagstone" rather than "brick"?

Yes... that's flagstone.... bricks are created... flagstone is cut from a bigger piece of stone.
