Who's going to Reno?

We were making plans to go to Tahoe/Reno in August of this year. May have to switch it up for the game. Usually go to a Reno Aces game but the minor league season will be over in September. Usually stay at the Atlantis Casino when we go. Downtown Reno is pretty dead. Many of the old casinos are closed up. The area around the baseball stadium is being rebuilt and is pretty nice. Just a few blocks east of the main north/south drag running through town. From what I remember, the U of Nevada is just a bit north of downtown.

Will be there and bringing my girl and her nieces. Its a part of my never ending battle of converting them to USF fans from that pesky little college an hour and a half from here...

eh..maybe..interesting destination, but the last time i travelled out west for a usf game i got sick and watched usf got it's ass whooped in the same weekend.

tahoe is great in the winter--never been there any other time

vegas will be 110 degrees than

reno is 20-30 degrees cooler that time of year

I am glad to see that USF is going on the road out west so it makes it easier for guys like Steve who live out west to make it plus gives a little exposure to a part of the country where the Bulls are merely a curiousity. I know Steve is waiting for our trip to San Diego St. since he called that one so the Reno trip is like a sampling of the future.

We're making a weeks vacation out of it. Flying ito San Fran for 3-4 days, then over to Reno for the rest of the week.
