Not very impressed by this commitment. Lawrence Martin signed with Arkansas State in 2011 and does not even appear to have played for Merced College this year.

We should be signing more Blue Chip high school players.

Disappointed we are settling for lower level JUCO's after de-commitments of Jenkins, Cameron, etc.

Holtz needs to pick up the pace after such a disastrous season!

This is what happens and where a coach has to poach players when he didn't do his job that well when it counted...........during the season. Just one of many JC players I expect this recruiting season.

Kid has no interest from anyone. Scraping the bottom of the barrel it seems, we just had a big O Line class. Hopefully this doesnt mean we arent expecting either of the OLinemen from Armwood.

This past class of true freshmen was Holtz' first recruiting class. Everyone on this board seems to believes we have the talent to be a Top 25 team. When a Top 25 team signs players they don't play for two or three years. The players signed last January should not see the field for until 2013 if the team has the proper talent and depth. If we are recruiting JuCo players, that means we don't have rising RS Sophmores or Juniors ready to step in and compete for a starting job. That means talent was lacking from the recruiting class three years ago.

Need some offensive line depth to make up for the loss of Tony "I allegedly brandished a knife while going to break into my ex's dorm" Kibler.

It's not that unusual for schools to have 1 or 2 JC recruits in a class, especially at our level, so finger pointing at either regime is a waste of time ... If it hits the 4 or 5 level, critiques could be warranted.

This is two on the OLine, which I would consider significant.

If memory serves me, there have been discussions on here about the one position that the state of Florida doesn't have a whole of depth in is the OL. Skill players are out there but other parts of the country seem to find the OL more plentiful ... FSU even had a JC OL commit.
