It's when they feel the nation is starting to yawn.

Didn't McDonough call our win over WVU in 2007? He's a good play by play guy. I'm assuming Tessitore and Gilmore called the game tonight? If so, then they really aren't good. That said, it was pretty awesome to have a game on TV this week.

Lou didn't really commit to either team. He made a comment about being obligated to pick USF. After that he complimented Nassib.

My fiance was calling the commentators out last week and she's just started to get really into football this season.

My fiance was calling the commentators out last week and she's just started to get really into football this season. we had ESPN guys last night-- the week before against Rutgers we had the Rutgers local crew. THey were fairly extreme on the homerism-- but probably no worse than what we get when Jim Louke and Robinson are at the wheel just we are not on the favored end. Actually-- that is probably not very fair-- those guys were pretty much unabashed cheerleaders for Rutgers

While watching my team play I could care less about a Sat. game. Talk about the game being televised. A lot is true about what was said in here....certainly if we were relevant the commentary would have been all about the game at hand.

I can't believe they didn't spend every second of the broadcast drooling over two bad football teams fighting for irrelevance...
