Lots of Twittering that the B12 will invite both Louisville and WVU tomorrow. Some indications now that they will go ahead and move to 12 teams, meaning a third team would be invited tomorrow or shortly thereafter.

No word on who the third team might be. Teams that have been mentioned at one point or another include BYU, Cincinatti and USF.

The caveat is that the B12 schools change their mind on an hourly basis. Tomorrow could bring zero to seven invites.

Tomorrow could bring 0 to 7 invites. Or it could bring the death of a conference.

If they go to 12, I'm leaning towards BYU.

And Missouri was to announce their departure on Monday. Pardon me, if I don't hold my breath.

Possible, but highly unlikely. Cincinnati is the best bet. I think I'd put USF and Tulane at better odds than BYU.

Yes, I know that Cincy has had more success than we have had in football. And today, Cincy has a better basketball program. But it's frustrating that the Big XII would invite Cincy over us. I guess I've always thought that getting into the Florida market was more attractive than it actually is.

cincy has way more to offer than us. plus they have been rivals with UofL for 100 years so you know they are getting inside help.

What more does Cincy have to offer, aside from basketball? I guess it's closer geographically? And the rivarly with UofL? Anything else? My understanding from other posters is that their fanbase is limited. Football is king in the south, and I have to think that if USF were invited to the Big XII our attendance figures would improve. Plus I think the Florida TV market has more potential than Ohio. People have been moving south for decades, and will probably continue to do it.
