It'll be alright fellas.  We'll be in somewhere as we're one of the largest universities in the country in a top 30 market.  Remember, this is about $$$.  That's worth something...

Same argument could be said for UCF. Doesnt appear to make a big difference

The ACC will become the new lowest rated AQ conference by adding 3 below average football programs.

and they'll all still make more money than us.  maybe we can watch them laugh their ways to the bank.

Texas, Oklahoma heading west.

The ACC made a major announcement over the weekend, and then confirmed it on Monday; they would be adding Pittsburgh and Syracuse from the Big East Conference.

The Pac 12 fired back with easily the biggest story in this entire re-alignment saga; Both Texas and Oklahoma will, in all likelihood, be heading west.  And with them, most likely, Texas Tech and Oklahoma State will be right behind.

The invitations are expected to be formally issued Tuesday or Wednesday, and there are some details to be ironed out.  The Longhorn Network, long the biggest issue in the re-alignment story, will need to find a compromise, but both sides appear willing to do just that.

As the first completed super conference, the soon to be Pac 16 has taken a huge step in becoming the preeminent conference in college football.

The rule is 27 months, do they leave in Jan. of 2014? In the middle of BBall season?

They would then wait until the academic year is over.

So far the BE is saying yes they have to wait.... but that being said, if there is no Big East there is no wait.
