No UF in 2015

With the cloud of uncertainty hanging over USF and other BEast teams due to the expansion plans of the BEast I don't blame USF for post-poning it... right now we could stay at 9, go to 10, or even 12... its anyone's guess...

Kinda sucks.  I was looking forward to going in 2015 with my daughter, who would more than likely be wearing something Gator as well as USF Bull (no way around it, the wife is a Gator).  She will be 6 years old then - maybe by the time they reschedule, she'll be old enough to decide she just wants to wear Bull gear.  8-)

I think I understand the move, but nonetheless disappointing.  You cannot beat the "it" team in Florida if you don't play them.

i'm sure it will come back around, but i doubt it will be for the current contract price.  it will change in price, time, date, etc.  maybe they'll add another game to the contract?  possibly an away for UF?  do they even play those?  haha!

USF-Florida football game moved off 2015 schedule

The USF and Florida football teams won’t meet as scheduled in 2015.

USF executive associate director of athletics Bill McGillis confirmed the game has been bumped from the 2015 schedule, with the two sides agreeing to look at a future year. McGillis said he anticipates the sides discussing a firm date for the game over the course of the next year.

This is the third time the game has been moved since the Bulls and Gators agreed to a contract to play twice in Gainesville. It was orginally scheduled for 2009, but in 2007 was moved to 2015 to accomodate USF’s five-year annual series with Miami.

The Gators and Bulls met for the first time in 2010, with Florida winning, 38-14.
