I dunno if Miami would grant a release to us.  I know some on the miami boards say the kid has been busted for smoking weed and his parents are meddlers, dunno if that is truth or just sour grapes.  Either way seems odd that they would let a talented player like him go to a team on their schedule.

Pride goeth before a fall. If they restrict a transfer to us, It means they consider us a rival, threat, et al. Same reason UF didn't restrict Dunkley. They can't admit that we are now playing on the same stage as they are. Expect a troll from Hurricane Mutiny soon.

I say let them not consider us on the same level and get all there talented "Left overs"(like some would say). Let UF,FSU,UM not consider us on the same level. Because they treat there "high" valued recruits like if they are nobodys because they can get who ever they want and replace them easily. This would give them bad reputations with the power house schools that happened to be in Tampa.

According to ESPN, we aren't on the short list. But Purdue???? And UCF????  Along with UGA and Alabama? Somethings screwy here.

They won't let him transfer to a non conference opponent. It's as simple as that.

If that was the case, then he would not even be visiting schools that he could not transfer to would he.

I think the quote about him visiting USF was inaccurate....

Looks like he is not visiting USF.  I would think he would want to go to a BCS school.

Storm Johnson is a UCF Knight

Storm Johnson is a UCF Knight.

The 6-foot-1, 217-pound running back chose UCF Friday after visiting the Orlando campus. He had also visited USF and chose between the two today.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
