IF WE COULD SEE OUR WAY TO AN INDOOR FIELD HOUSE THAT WOULD BE THE TOPPER.i THINK REALLY BIG THINGS ARE ON THERE WAY FOR USF.

you might not want to say that too loud around here-- people make fun of UCF for having an indoor field house

No, we made fun of UCF fans when they came over here talking like the indoor field house was some sort of Holy Grail .... It's a nice luxury, not a necessity.

I think in the state of Florida it's a necessity.

10 MNC's and no deaths by lightning (as far as I know) doesn't indicate a necessity to me ...

Couldnt we just build a structure around the turf field at the facility?

I don't think there's room. There wouldn't be enough room between the walls and the sidelines. It also has to be a very tall building, to accommodate punting and kicking.

Thought the same thing .... but does anyone know what the deal with eye in the sky coaching platforms is and why they aren't up yet?

I think it is a plus to practice in "real time weather".  When you practice indoors, you lose how the affect of weather can effect the game.  Unless everyone in our conference plays the season in a dome or indoors, I think it is a benefit to get out in the elements and practice in "real time weather".

That is probably because they bring the kids in when lightning is in the area.  I was told that was one of the reasons to make the practice facilities closer to the building - to get them inside more quickly when lightning occurs.

We need an indoor track so that we can host events.
