The County should have just let them transfer it over but that would make too much sense and be too easy.

What does the the county have to do with it?

It is a state liicense but the County has to approve the location with a variance due to the close proximity to schools and a church.

Since USF is in the City of Tampa, wouldn't that approval fall under the authority of the city rather than Hillsborough County?

I was told County Commissioner's had to approve it. Call them and complain. Beer = 2012

Going to the game tonight. Do they have the beer flowing yet, or will I have to get hammered before I get to the stadium?

If baseball is so bad that you need to "get hammered" why do you go???

Actually, baseball is my favorite sport. I dont HAVE to, but I enjoy drinking beer at baseball games.

Drinking a few beers is one thing, getting hammered is another.

When I attended USF Schlitz was across the street and we drank free hospitality beers beginning at lunch. You did have to be 18 yrs old though. It was pretty close to a school though, RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET!!!!!!!!! the modern women's temperance union(MADD) has taken all the fun out of drinking beer at school and at a ball game. I sat next to Carl Bernstein at a spring training game weekend before last. We drank beer, talked baseball and razzed each other about the Mets/Braves rivalry.  A game isn't a game without a cold one. Two things I can't imagine doing without having an ice cold beer in front of me. Fishing and baseball. Sorry, but it's a tradition.

I have smuggled beer into basically any area... Ice Palace, Church, USF Football games, State Parks, Movie Theaters, MacDill AFB, Disney, State Fair, etc... just because USF does not have their liquor license does not mean that the part has to stop...
