I could be wrong but it seems like to me...Holtz doesn't seem to even be going after any "acedemic" borderline kids. I think he said this class only had one person who had not qualified and he was almost there.

Not to slight Leavitt.....but we seemed to have good recruiting classes and then by March you would find 3 or 4 of the kids were going to JUCO. I mean for how long did we talk about Leslie Stirrups? Not trying to say Holtz is better but it seems like he just goes after different talent than Leavitt did.

Elkino Watson seemed to have some the best grades I had ever seen for a USF 4 star recruit.

FYI, Bellamy ended up at Youngstown State and seemed to have a good Freshman season. Apparently, he has a cousin that also plays DB for them.

No more comments from UCiFers... they usually don't give up Internet battles as easily as they do football games... This is strange.

Regardless, the press on this versus what happened at Purdue will pay dividends in recruiting next year. Bank on that. Kids will want to play for Skip. O'Liar should take lessons.

i dont think it will be difficult to out recruit

we already know holtz is a much better coach
