Have patience. Our only really good year was the year after we blew the TV up. In the end we won 9 games. Leavitt was a great recruiter because of his enthusiasm. Holtz has a reputation of coaching up, and winning championships.

We are meeting needs. If we can make a statement on the field this year, we will make a statement recruiting stars next year. They will still have to red shirt and wait behind the 3 stars we sign this year.

Winning stars is really fun, but winning games is better.

This has been Holtz's MO wherever he has gone. Obviously not known for getting the highly prized recruits. He gets guy that have the size, smarts, and hearts he needs, and coaches them to their potential. I was hoping for more this year but I wasnt really expecting it. On field results will tell the tale.

Yep, I guess he will just have to coach the players he has and can get to a higher level.

UF and Miami cahnging coaches and filling out their classes late has been awful for USF.  Its been a real dose of humble pie these last few weeks.

Rashawn Scott committing to UM without yet visiting will sit in my craw for a while.

I feel the same. It looks lie Westbrook is the latest. I wasn't expecting Holtz to do that much better than where we're at right now for 2011, but to be so close to a better class and watch them get picked off is aggravating.

That guy isnt serious...we are NOT out recruiting UM...even with their coaching change they are still topping us.
