This is just what Skip seemed to do at ECU, get solid kids....coach them up...and get the most from them...w/o 4-5 star status.

He will serve USF very well.

So who is left that USF is going after.....obviously Grady....and then who? We are no longer going after WRs with Scott gone. I am pretty sure Watson is going to UM. Who if anyone is still in play?

The bottom line is that it always boils down to coaching.

I like the looks of this class and I truly believe that Coach Holtz can mold these guys into Big East Champions.

Agree.  The O line was overlooked and under recruited in the past.  I think we will have a nice balance with Coach Holtz.

I think every class should have a G a T and a G/T or a C/G. That's just me though.

Yup, too many walk-ons playing on the O-line in years past.

A number of them had very good careers at USF. Some of our most highly rated OL ended up being total busts. I think that numerous Injuries have been our biggest problem over the years.

I don't mind walk-on OL, because some of them do pan out over the long term.

Fine, but 7 running backs and 8 linemen is also out of balance

:P

I think every class did.  Not every class had one make it on campus or make it through summer practice though.  Our eye on OL talent and development was subpar after Frey left.  Shank seems to be getting it together though.
