Yeah, he was touted as the next LT and one of the best high school running backs of all time...unfortunately he made ESPN's list of top ten college "busts" of all time. The talent is there however.

The talent was there ... Let's just hope it still is and there's no baggage that may hinder it getting put to good use.

I guess the question is how heavy was he when he started losing weight.  He got up to 240 before leaving Colorado.

Hopefully, he will be more successful and motivated than Mike Ford.

I also assumed bad news when I clicked on this link.  He is a talent and I believe will be productive for us next year.  This staff will mold him into a numbers producer.

I think he'll break all Dre's numbers

cue lofty expectations before he plays a down.

Also for the people that say 'our staff will mold him'...staffs can only mold players that are moldable, or willing to commit themselves.  The previous staff could mold too, and they tried like hell with Ford...but as you remember the infamous line in "Cool Hand Luke".  "...Some men you can't reach..."

The positive is Scott apparently has recommitted himself after the staff initially thought he was a lost cause at the beginning of the season.  Now it's all up to Scott.  The staff will mold as much as Scott is willing to be molded, but let's see how committed he is the next 9 months of off-season.  It's easy to commit yourself for 1-2 months but go 9 months.  Seeing is believing, for now I am just glad that Murray has really come on and Shaw appears to be the real deal.
