The Stadium where the Eagles play isn't an option.

They'll most likely play where the MLS team plays.

I could be wrong but I would think that with all those other teams so close.....Pitt, SU, Rutgers, West Virginia, UConn....they should be able to get enough of a traveling road group that Nova should be able to meet the minimum attendance requirement.

The more I think about it.....I really hope Nova accepts and that is the end of expansion for a while.

Looks pretty intimate....I'd go to a game up there.

That is a nice looking stadium. I believe it holds 20,000+.

'Nova would easily meet the NCAA attendance requirements when you factor in league games.

It'd be a fun "road" trip.

I was thinking that myself...."Hey Honey.....how would you like to go up and visit your family in Philly?"

Nice stadium, but almost 20miles from campus.

And unlike us, even the seat colors are appropriate. >:D

There is a pretty straightforward public transportation option - train to Philly, change for train to Chester. Nearly 2 hours one-way, but not sure how it runs on Saturdays.

Somehow....I don't think the BE is actually concerned about how many fans Villanova brings....just as long as they can get to that 15,000 avg attendance. (I think that is the minimum). I think they are trying to get inventory for the BEN and Nova helps them keep it in the family....as opposed to adding UCF or Houston and then having to add 18 to basketball.

There are many ways around this. Nova could play a home game at Penn State let's say (FAU played at home game this year against Michigan State at Ford Field)....you just met your attendance requirement in one game. Plus I think Rutgers and West Virginia fans could sell out that stadium on their own.

Brilliant! A 4-game home-and-home series where all 4 games are played at PSU's field. I like it. It would certainly help Nova make their attendance numbers the first 4 years. Maybe even throw in a neutral-site game at the Eagle's stadium.

In Eagles stadium against Notre Dame.....I could see that. Catholics helping the Catholics.
