According to Jeff Sagarin. And this is the blended ranking, the ranking that the BCS uses has USF @ 155th (On the flip side, the ranking that gamblers use has USF @ 77th), good time to be a Bull! At least their will be more space in the stadium

Oh the irony.  South Alabama with Greg Gregory as the offensive coordinator is ranked ahead of USF.  The much maligned Greg Gregory (a couple years ago), I might add.  :

The rankings beyond say 35 or so are just completely meaningless.  There isn't a casino in America that would give you even money on USF vs any of those teams.

That is correct.

South Alabama (USA Jaguars) are actually moving to FBS in 2013 and will join the SunBelt conference after their initial independent year.

Jacksonville State also has some "booted" players. I think they still have Ryan Perrilloux from LSU. Rankings are correct though, most of those teams listed have played a few FBS, mainly BCS teams, a few have notched wins over FBS schools, and many are doing well in FCS so their SoS are pretty high, even with a loss to a FBS school
