Does anyone else think we should just let these 2 guys sit out the year and go for a medical redshirt (I'm not sure which, if either, have used a redshirt already)?

The season is lost.  What good would letting either of these guys play 6 or fewer games when there is no chance of going bowling?  I would rather flush the season where it is already headed and save them both for the additional year.

Love won't be a factor.  At this point, I wonder if Griffin will even be a factor.

Bad luck with injuries, but injuries will always happen. The receivers Holtz brought in during the off season have been non existent. Bravo brown, Welsh, Knowles, Montague,... either not performing well, academically ineligible, or redshirted. Also recruiting for next year for the WR position has been horrible so far. Just one who is lowly rated or not yet rated.

Welch has been RSed and Montague is joining the team in Jan as a 2011 commit.

Why cant he pull a Plancher exactly?

I think Griffin is probably going to redshirt at this point. Love, if he cannot get a 6th year, should come back to at least have a shot of getting drafted.

Also, a bowl game isn't impossible yet. We just need to somehow play .500 ball from here on out. Does beating UL, UConn, and Rutgers seem absolutely impossible?

The way we played against the orange and the way our offense is not showing up to games...it does seem impossible
