Skip saying that he realizes Daniels has to do what he does.  That he is a good scrambler than can cut tht corner and make yards, or sometimes make the big play down field.  So, expect to see Daniels all over the place tonight now that the leash is off.  I just hope he does not become our leading rusher again.

I think Cuse did a good job containing him, we'll see.

I agree with Joe, contain him inside. If we can't hit the screens, or maybe an option or two, to keep the ends from crashing from the outside it's gonna be another long night.

If we can get our RB running game going with some draws...maybe we can run some boot legs or other misdirection plays to free up some pressure and get their LB's to come up some more to open up the middle

We should be able to run a bit against their 3-3-5 D.

I'd rather the leash be off of B.J. and let him scramble a bit if he has to.

BJ isn't a pocket passer now so why force the issue.

Let him run and use some boot legs.

The UF game was a no-holds barred game for our offense...they let him run and for almost a half it worked very well. I think the coaches, despite still missing our #1 and #3 receivers thought they could go "traditional" against Syracuse and still win. Syracuse turns out to be a lot better team now and BJ should have been allowed to run. I blame coaching for not adjusting by 2nd half offensively as much as blaming BJ. Until we have all 3 top receivers in the mix, you do what you have to do to win the games.

Since he obviously only sees one side of the field when in the pocket anyway,  I am all for rolling him out where he can be more dangerous.  I came into the season all concerned about limiting his runs because of possible injury, which would ruin our season. At this point, I am thinking the season is over anyway if BJ continues to stay in the pocket so let go for it.

Agreed, I am not asking him to be Joe Montana and win games with his arm

Just hit enough passes where the defense is a little honest and he can win it with his legs!
