I saw a miami central game on tv last year.  Godfrey is not 5'11".  Maybe 5'8".  Maybe.

LOL ... I was just about to say he looked taller than 5' 11" to me .... 5'8" ... Seriously?

Serious.  I was wondering why we were recruiting midgets at qb.  Although I just looked at some clips from the ucf games and he does look closer to 5'10".

Midget comment notwithstanding kid is a great athlete.

Well yeah, of course most players are about 2 inches taller than they really are. I remember Grothe being listed as 6'1" or something one time lol.

Kid must have huge hands for his size considering how he is flipping that ball around, pretty impressive.

I was impressed by Godfrey, reminded me a lot of Grothe.  Kid has a ton of potential and he should be the best QB UCF has had in a while.

8 for 18, 92 yards, 2 picks

17 carries, 99 yards, long of 20.

ucf had 252 on the ground, and 92 in the air. they are a run first team.

kansas state has an under rated defense as well.

ucf did keep daniel thomas in check for 76 yards on 22 carries though, and he's been scorching people. looks like ucf was up 10-3 entering the 4th and gave up a 58 yard TD pass, then got another FG to make it 13-10, and the ksu qb had a great late game drive to get the winning score.

His first INT was a definite freshman mistake and it stalled an impressive drive for them.

Missed the game tonight vs. Marshall, but from the box score looks like an OK night running (27 yds, 2 TD), but a rough night passing:

C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT

J. Godfrey 11/21 138 6.6 0 1

Course, the big stat was good for the W.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
