its easy to type a prediction here but the reality is, our bulls are going to have to earn it. this will not be a give-away. hell, just keeping up will be an uphill battle.

that being said,

why not:

in holtz we trust.

bulls 28-24

ingredients for a bulls win-

the cockier the gators are the better off we are.

holtz, work your magic.

defense, time to step up.

play a strong, well-paced, mental game.

prepare. then execute.

see ya in gainesville fellow bulls

Who's wearing green and gold goggles now?  ;)

I love how this thread has gotten so positive for the Bulls!

USF has a good shot. If Tebow was still in college I would say otherwise, but John Brantley is no Tim Tebow.

Brantley is pretty good.  Also he can open up the offense there to a whole new direction if Urban and company choose.

Not worried about brantley.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but it looks like they may be down a WR. Of course he hasn't played a big role in the past, but it said he was expected to play one this year.

Not worried about brantley.

Too early to tell. Our secondary is going to be our weak spot on defense. If Brantley is as good as I think he will be (reminds me of Colt McCoy, personally) we could be in for along day.

The key will be to hit him, early and often. Take the rhythm out of the offense. That was what you needed to beat Leak.

And as aforementioned, we get KILLED when playing power running teams (see rutgers)

But when we play against the spread offense with the "fastest players"( like Devine from WVU) our defense fares quite well.

People are too quick to rule USF out and just say UF has it in the bag due to "talent."

IMHO Players from the state of florida are a certain kind of breed, and USF has em just like UF does.

9 times out of 10, under normal circumstances, Florida in all respects SHOULD beat USF.

BUT that is under NORMAL circumstances.

not when it is

USF's greatest game to date

The introduction of a brand new coach in Skip Holtz who Florida cant necessarily prep against

The USF players as well as the fans UNDYING thirst to pull off an upset

The 2nd game of UF s starting QB

If we can strike while the iron is hot, there will be in upset at the swamp.

And as we all know in the world of college football, ANYTHING can happen. ;)

YESSSSSSSSSSSS

[glow=red,3,300]STRIKE WHILE THE IRON IS HOT

THERE WILL BE AN UPSET AT THE SWAMP[/glow]

So has it been written

So shall it be done

So shall it be remembered

I've got the answer...this game has already been played.  Actually, it's been played in my dreams a number of times and always ends the same way...it even goes back before the game was announced.  USF wins..both teams score in the 30's but I won't tell you the ending.

CRAZY!

UF 52 USF 3.  Urban Cryer hangs 50+ on us to show USF who the dominate program is in the state.

OK that definitely won't happen. We're not I-AA, cmon. We're a decent team, even if we don't beat the Gators.
