So, people on the FSU boards that I read are talking about rumors they're hearing from SEC big boosters, saying that FSU and Clemson will join the SEC to bring the conference to 14 teams.

There was also a guy on the radio yesterday who said the ACC wants USF.

So maybe we'll see USF and Louisville head to the ACC when all is said and done.

Source!!!! not being a d*ck, just wanna read it lol

to add to my point it is good to have an in conference in-state rival.  I believe with the good relations we have with miami, they would go to bat for us.  florida has wanted to add fsu for awhile now.  They understand the importance of an in-state rival.

The bigger issue for Florida is another home OCC game.  Moving FSU from non-conference to in-conference would free up another slot... probably for another  home game.

I would love for that to happen. I'm hoping that this happens. But the ACC would need Miami to stay for the health of the league.

Sorry to say but those two schools would probably be the last two schools invited.  As I stated in another post, everything that has been floating around is that Rutgers and UCONN are the top two likely to be taken, which would give the ACC the entire Atlantic Coast TV wise, which is more people than any conference.

Rutgers is still very much be considered by the big 10.  they will probably expand in stages as being reported now.  Uconn adds basketball, but not much in the form of tv market, plus would BC want to take uconn.  WVU adds prestige in football, good basketball, rabid fan base but no big tv market.  That leaves cinci..eh, Pitt(possibility), louisville, and south florida (13th media market and a second florida presence if sec takes fsu).  Plus mama bull has been posting how fast usf is growing academically.  Don't sell usf short, they are a very attractive university for the ACC.

I agree. I don't think "academics" will keep USF out of the ACC. USF has already shown itself to be one of the "up and coming" universities in the nation.

I know this is way off base but I got in an arguement with my son the Senior HS Kicker and he said no oneuses the SAT anymore because he only took the ACT - Does that make any sense ?  Is the ACT the big one now ?

Depends on the University

SAT USED to be the predominate test that everyone took

However, now its a toss up

But both tests are different... They test on different aspects, so some people may do better on the ACT than on the SAT.

And, not sure it has changed, the main reason students go for the ACT... NO ESSAY.

Its actually optional in the ACT.

Generally.. if your a better writer.. take the SAT.

If not, or hate essay writing (and how many people don't?) ...ACT

he is certainly misguided in that regard... SAT outweighs the ACT 10 out of 10 times.
