I don't mind there being bowl games in other countries...as long as they make the sport look good. Some backwater bowl involving a MAC team and a Big East team that finished below .500 in conference play isn't going to generate much interest.

The 2009 version of this bowl only drew 22k fans.

The previous year drew 40k since it was UConn vs Buffalo, so it was probably a nice road trip for their fans.

I know some think Manhatten is too expensive to go to the Yankee Bowl. otel.com (Not hotel.com) has East Midtown hotel rooms at The Pod motel for $118/night right now for the week between Christmas and New Years.
