'Nova.  They have three tough road games before they play us, but if they stay undefeated in conference play, there's a good chance they'll be #1 in the nation.  And remember who knocked off the last unbeaten (in conf play) BigEast team last season?  USF over Marquette!

As for the conference tourney, get the double-bye (top 4) and we're a lock.  However a #8 spot doesn't guarantee an extra "meaningful" game... Last year PC was #8 but instead of facing #9 Cincy, they got #16 DePaul and absolutely no credit for the win.  Then #1 UL beat them and no NCAAs.  Same thing happened to our womens team -- got the #8 slot and instead of being well-rested to pay back a #9 Marquette team that beat us twice, we got #16 Cincy, no credit, a major-league beatdown by #1 UConn the next day, and the WNIT.  Give me the highest possible seed, and take our chances.

Wow, this is going to make our win look that much better......Georgetown holds a 17 point lead over Villanova with under 5 minutes left in the first half.....just wow!

This is not a WOW because G'Town is really good and imo suppose to win this game. Nova is resilient so it's not over by any means.

This also shows what kind of player D. Jones is compared the rest of the BE guards. Jason Clark is one of the top defenders in college basketball and a great shooter too. He is touching Nova this 1st half while Reynolds is struggling to do anything against him. Clark had to put so much effort on D against Jones he was a non factor offensively in the game with USF.

There is logic into wanting Nova to win, but G'Town is who I want winning. I want G'Town ranked as high as possible which improves the RPI and SOS for USF. I believe we can have a NCAAT berth wrapped up before the BET

Vega - Why does no one talk about our defense.  The games I have seen we play tough team defense - the whole team.

Are you sure Clark is "touching" Nova  lol

Georgetown's strength is Nova's biggest weekness.

GU has 2 Quality big men.  Nova has 1.
