You will thank McMurphy later when our football program becomes a consistent top-10 program... however, no one wanted to see Jim leave like he did. Leavitt reached his ceiling... plain and simple. Unfortunately, he dug his own grave by his actions during the Louisville game.

"Tom, can you get me off, for old times?"

"Sorry, can't do it"

"It's business -- it's not personal"

"Leave the gun, take the canoles"

********!

Why do you think the gloatfest was on?  He won.  And so did some of his little college aged buddies.

Forget the football article, how about the article accusing the basketball team of violations which were 100% false. Heath should have had his rear thrown out of the dome.

So the program that can only afford mid major coaches or retread coaches minus assistants is going top 10 now?

To this statement I quote Philosopher Ron Burgundy: "I thought you were kidding. I thought it was a joke, I even wrote it down in my diary. Sheriff had a very funny joke today. I laughed at it later that night."

Kind of OT, but Auman wasn't on press row either and my conspiracy leaning mind immediately went to "he's covering our new fb coach hire!!" Looked even better when I didn't see Woolard or LeeRoy around either .... Sadly, at the half I saw Greg down near where McNancyDrew was sitting ... but he was on the phone so I still held out hope something was going down .... until I turned the radio on after the game.
