If we need to recruit better, then we need to play in pro-style offense.

Some of the best recruiting teams in the country run some form of spread, that statement is ridiculous.

It would be another 6 or 7 years before we could compete if we went to a pro style offense.  You have to recruit completely different types of athletes starting with the OL.  We don't go outside Florida now  to recruit (which I personally think is a major mistake for recruiting).  We would need to start recruiitng bigger, stronger OL.  We can't get them now.  The spread, if run properly, minimizes the need for a dominant, big line.  A pro style will make a dominant line more necessary.  We also need to recruit a different type of QB.

The spread is the right offense for us.  We just need to learn how to run it properly

Its sad when I can remember only one good play call all year that stands out (and I mean a called and executed play, not a busted coverage 70yd td). The TD pass from Daniels to Busbee against FSU was an excellent play.

Our version of the spread is poorly executed, but I think it will definitely improve in the next couple of years.

What about the first play of the second half against Syracuse..... I need more of that from Canales

Stereotype FAIL

oregon historically has had large OLs

if they are smaller, then they are STRONGER than ours...

pro style wont work in florida.

but i am serious when i say we need to seriously limit the amount of QB/RB read handoff options....and get BJ outside of the pocket...pull some guards and really SPREAD out of defense.  we got in spread formation this year but HARDLY ran a spread offense.  everything was run up the middle.

How will pro style not work in FL?

Miami used a prostyle to win 5 national championships.

I know, I was there. Just categorizing an entire group of players as Samoan, when not even one is, was comical.

Any style of offense will work FOR CERTAIN when you have Vernon Carey, Najeh Davenport, Ken Dorsey, Bubba Franks, Frank Gore, Edgerrin James, Andre Johnson, Willis McGahee,  Sinorice Moss, Santana Moss, Roscoe Parrish, Clinton Portis, Jeremy Shockey, Reggie Wayne and Kellen Winslow.

But you can also argue that there defense won them those championships. I won't bore you with the names.
