not that it matters but I thought I read that the Boise head coach was making under a million a year

personally-- I don't know how well you can do with a coach from out west unless they have recruiting background in Florida of some sort. Discipline is one thing-- but you need pipelines to the better HS programs.

Not sure if Leavit should be fired or not (due to contract only), but I think we can all agree he is GROSSLY overpaid. 

unprepared, moronic sideline antics are tiresome, outcoached, probably in the bottom 5 of bcs coaches.

Possible Coaches:

Al Golden from Temple

Mike London from Richmond

Both are affordable, both are winning coaches.  Both make less than $1 mill a year.

London won the FCS title last year and his team is currently #4 in FBS (8-1)

Al Golden has taken Temple from the worst program in FCS to bowl eligible in 4 seasons and is challenging for the MAC conference title.

There are two choices of coaches that could be gotten this year, don't count  on them being available next year. The buyout clause for JCL is $7.2 million if he is still the coach at the start of 2010 (January 1) if I remember the contract correctly.

you can compare him to a professional athlete who kills it in the last year of his current contract, to get a huge pay increase and long term deal to coast and underachieve after.  Maybe he hoaxed us.  Doubt it, but you see where im coming from.
